Continuing Education

You already know how to move in the air; let’s look at how it works. The Anchor–Axis Method is Chrysalis’ approach to aerial education; rather than focusing on the memorization of skills and sequences, the program explores the relationships between the body, the apparatus, and the environment to help students become more knowledgeable movers, more confident educators, and more thoughtful practitioners; a framework for understanding aerial movement through anatomy, applied mechanics, technique, and movement education.

LECTURE & DISCUSSION

We’re always looking for exceptional teachers; Chrysalis prioritizes hiring professional instructors first and aerialists second. Movement pedagogy is a specific skill that requires marination and maturation, and maybe even more practice than aerial itself!
