  • Level 1

    Accessible to all levels, including those brand-new to aerial yoga. Start here!

    FLIGHT FOUNDATIONS INTRO WORKSHOP
    An incredible 2.5 hour Intro Workshop where you'll learn the foundational building blocks to create your aerial yoga practice. This experience is designed for those brand-new to aerial yoga or those who have perhaps taken a couple of classes and are looking for a deeper dive into the fundamentals.

    ZEN FLIGHT
    Designed to lower stress, decompress and release stuck energy. The hour is a real treat and instructors will offer up anything from restorative movement to myofascial release, guided meditation or floating adjustments.

    YIN FLIGHT
    Typically offered as a workshop, our Yin Flight is a “low flight” class that incorporates postures held for 3-5 minutes each and works on releasing all of the 'stuff' that's embedded deep inside the physical and emotional body.

    BEGINNER FLIGHT
    This delivers our signature Flow Flight class at a pace accessible to those new to an aerial practice.

    FIT & FLEXY FLIGHT
    Improve your fitness and your flexibility in one fun class. Split into two 30 minute segments, we’ll spend the first half of class in cardio and strength mat work, thoroughly warming the body, before moving to the hammock for some deep stretches & inversions.

    BARRE FLIGHT
    We take our Classic Barre class and swap the barre for the hammock. Who says you can’t pulse upside down??

    OPEN STUDIO
    Want assistance workshopping a new pose or just some extra time to play on the silks? One of our expert instructors will be on hand to support you as you work toward your next level. If you want to take an hour nap in the hammock, that's totally cool too. The time is yours!

  • Level 2

    Before taking a level 2 class, students should be comfortable working with the fabric, including inverting into a hip hang and rope wrap. Most people are ready to try level 2 after taking three to five 1 classes.

    FLOW FLIGHT (and SLOW FLOW FLIGHT)
    Let your soul come alive in a dynamic vinyasa style flow that moves in + around the hammock linking breath to movement. Expect to feel challenged, lengthened and refreshed.

    FLEXIBILITY FLIGHT
    Open up! This creative flow-based class will focus on lengthening your muscles and creating space in the body. Whether you are working on your splits or deepening your backbends, the fabric will help safely guide you into a deeper stretch.

    FIT FLIGHT
    This 50 minute aerial fitness class unites elements of weight training, yoga and HIIT (high intensity interval training) while incorporating the hammock to add extra challenge for the core. You’ll get FIT in record time!

  • Level 3 & Level 4

    Prerequisites:

    At least 5-10 Flow Flight and/or Flexibility Flight classes

    Comfortable inverting independently

    Comfortable standing up in the fabric

    Able to pull up to a floating straddle

    Able to rest in a hip hang

    AERIAL DANCE (level 3)
    A hybrid of contemporary dance and aerial flow that utilizes the floor, the sky and the space in between. The silk is used as a tool to broaden our possibilities as dancers while still working on technique, alignment and lines.

    BALLET PLAY (level 3)
    Ballet Play combines the elements of classical ballet and aerial art, focusing on lines and how to recreate ballet positions and grace in the air.

    INTRO TO PLAY FLIGHT (level 3)
    Let's learn to PLAY! This class is fun and playful while staying accessible for those not quite ready for a level 4 Play class. We'll combine strength, flexibility and artistry for a challenging and invigorating class. In addition to exploring movement combinations, you'll learn wraps and other foundational aerial Play elements.

    PLAYFUL FLOW FLIGHT (level 3)
    This fusion class is a mix of vinyasa flow, flexibility and play fundamentals. Inversions are seamlessly woven into the vinyasa practice, providing ample time in the fabric while also increasing flexibility. This mix will warm up all the muscles needed to flow into play movements like cross back straddle, hip hangs and more!

    In addition to level 3 prerequisites, level 4 has the following requirements:

    At least 10 Level 3 Classes or instructor permission

    Able to independently enter Thigh Wrap and Crossback Straddle

    Can hang from both arms for 10 seconds

    Can lower to the ground from standing in the hammock

    Able to hang in a Hip Key or Scissors for 10 seconds

    PLAY FLIGHT (level 4)
    We’ll work on building strength, balance and creative voice through new variations of creative and challenging asanas and transitions.
